Active Camps

These are camps that have planned, scheduled activities, like stage performances, poetry readings, an art installation for discussion, etc. Interactive camps are fun! Please remember the "Moderate" Maturity rating on Burn2's regions. Active camps (including plottery active camps) have the opportunity to list their activities on the WHO::WHAT::WHERE Guide, so more people will be able to know who's doing what, and where on the playa!

The WHO::WHAT::WHERE Guide

What things will you do at AXIS MUNDI that you would want the community to know about and join in? Got a stage, or have you got a plan for an art installation showing, poetry reading, even yoga sessions? Scavenger hunt! If you can fit it into your camp, following all guidelines, you're encouraged to do it! All camps, including plot lottery recipients, will have the option to post their activity schedules through Burn2's website on the WHO::WHAT::WHERE Guide, giving them control over their own scheduling with the ability to cancel and reschedule activities.

We know we're throwing a lot of information at you here, but it will all help us work toward a successful and fun event!

We encourage you to build within this year's art theme! But it's not a requirement, just fun to do.

Also, picture yourself on an ancient dried-up lake bed with mountains surrounding the playa. It is a hostile, water-scarce, dusty, windy place. How would you build to stand up to those elements?

We also have builder guidelines and Octoburn FAQ. If you are granted a plottery plot, it will be 512sqm with 156LI max. Max height will be 16m (28m if placed on the "low rules" region). An important thing to remember is that no plottery plot can be joined to any other plot, even another plottery plot. There are no exceptions to this.

We also expect compliance with the following policies:

Maturity Ratings;
Burn2 Child Avatar Policy;
and the Burn2 Adult Content Policy.
