An Echo of Black Rock City Returns Soon
Burn2's echo of AXIS MUNDI will begin to appear on the virtual Playa in early September, coming alive in mid-October.
Our Playa expands beyond Deep Hole, and we need 11 names for those additional regions.

Do you feel inspired by that reading, to come up with a name for one of the 11 additional regions? Drop your idea in the form below!
But first, some guidelines. These come from Linden Lab®.
- Cannot be a name that is already being used
- Length up to 19 characters, including spaces*
- Two words or less
- Only alphanumeric characters
- Cannot use the name of a real life city
- Cannot use SL, Linden, Linden Lab, Second Life, etc. in the name
- Must be suitable for general audiences**
- No real person's name
- Must not violate any trademark right, copyright or other property right
- Vulgarity is NOT permitted (this includes obscenities in any language however spelled; racist, sexist or otherwise derogatory in nature)
- Deadline: 11PM SLT Wednesday, the 12th of August.
*The full name of each region will be prefixed with "BURN2 " so the 19 character limit keeps the name length in compliance with the "less than 26 characters" requirement from Linden Lab.
**While the Octoburn regions will be Moderate rated, the names must comply with the General maturity rating standard.
The Burn2 planning committee reserves the right to alter a name or select a different name, in the event the Lab staff ask us to do so.

Now through Wednesday 12 August: Call for Region names
Thursday 13 August through 15 August: Voting for region names
Sunday 16 August: Any tiebreakers and final results
