The Annual Octoburn Plot Sale Continues!

The annual plot sale continues for Burn2's Octoburn event, themed "TOMORROW TODAY" in which we echo the same theme that was selected for this year's Burning Man event. The button at right will take you to more information and a teleport!

Plot Lottery (Plottery)

Each year in the spirit of inclusion we offer a limited number of free plots, for those who are in a tight financial place but would like to have a spot on the playa to call home. These plots are 512sqm with max height at 16m, and are scattered across the playa. Builder guidelines for plottery plots are the same as for other plots. Apply here.

Invited Artists

As we like to do, we seek 2D and 3D artists to feature in various areas of our virtual playa during Octoburn. if you would like to nominate an artist for this special grant, please drop your nomination here. A committee will evaluate nominations for grants and pass their recommendations to the Placement and HeARTery teams for placement.

Stages Seeking to Host Performers

As a further echo of Black Rock City, we do not have a main stage at Tomorrow Today. Instead, we encourage sound camps with their own stages and schedules. Some of these sound camps are open to hosting performers on their stages. We have a list of these camps, here. We encourage you to contact the organizers for the camps to find out their schedule availability.

WHO::WHAT::WHERE Guide

Sound camps and other active camps will once again be able to manage their own stage schedules, on Burn2's website. This will be public facing so that visitors to the Tomorrow Today event can know who is going to do what and where. Entry will be available after the regions open for building - you will need your camp placement in order to list your schedules!

Center Camp and BOB Stage: There will be booking available for the Center Camp and BOB stages when the regions open for building. Center Camp is a much more relaxed, laid-back environment, intended to be more intimate for live singers and performers. BOB (Bring Own Build) Stage is for those live performers who bring their own stage sets - because they will only perform once during the event.

The Regions are Here, Being Prepared

The additional regions for our Octoburn event, "Tomorrow Today" have arrived! They are now being worked on to get them ready for the build period to open.

We are asking everyone to please not go into those regions until you receive your placement for your plot, or until the event opens. It will make things much easier for the team, the builders and the artists. We can't wait until on the 17th of October, when we can say, "WELCOME HOME!"
