Below The Surface

an underwater fantasy

April 17-19, 2026

descend into the deep...

Below the Surface invites you into a living, breathing underwater world built entirely in a virtual environment. Shafts of light drift through the water as bubbles rise and particles shimmer in the distance. Everything moves slowly and fluidly, shaped by unseen currents.

This immersive space reacts to sound, motion, and presence. Music, visuals, and the crowd itself become part of a constantly evolving oceanic ecosystem. As the weekend unfolds, the environment shifts and responds, creating the feeling of truly being submerged in a shared, living world.

the current (main stage)
The Current is the energetic heart of Below the Surface.

At its center is a DJ booth integrated into a glowing seaform — a massive jellyfish, leviathan structure, or towering coral spire that pulses with light as the music evolves.

Across the weekend, the sonic journey flows from ambient and downtempo into deeper currents of house, techno, and experimental electronic music. Visuals, lighting, and particle effects move in sync with the sound, surrounding the dancefloor in waves of color and motion.

the reef (social & exploration zone)
The Reef is a space to drift, connect, and explore.

Formed from coral structures, shells, and bioluminescent flora, this zone offers calm gathering areas and hidden corners for conversation. Ambient soundscapes and gentle environmental motion create a relaxed atmosphere between dancefloor sessions.

Interactive elements throughout The Reef respond to proximity and touch, allowing visitors to activate subtle visual effects, light patterns, and environmental reactions.

the depths (ritual & performance space)
Far below the main currents lies The Depths.

This quieter, more introspective environment hosts spoken word, interpretive dance, experimental visuals, and immersive performance pieces. At select moments throughout the weekend, the environment itself transforms — shifting colors, lighting, and atmosphere to match each performance.

The Depths provide a contemplative counterpoint to the energy of the main stage.

a living environment
Below the Surface is designed around participation rather than spectatorship. Everyone present contributes to the atmosphere and experience.

Participants are encouraged to arrive in underwater-inspired avatars — creatures, bioluminescent beings, or deep-sea explorers that blend into the world.

As participants move, gather and interact, the environment shifts and evolves. Because, in this world, everyone becomes part of the ocean.
