To the BURN2 Community

Dear BURN2 Community,

While the playa was closed, the leads of each department met twice weekly and finally there is good news to report to everyone. This week we managed to get the last few department descriptions revised and approved. B2TV was the last one to be confirmed as its own department, separate but collaborating with Performance- congratulations B2TV! Fresh new pages will appear on the website with that information along with more updated content on other pages, and the site will become easier to navigate. Pardon the dust as the progress continues!

At the same time, they have been developing some guidelines that will go hand in hand with the 10 Principles to give us a strong foundation of ethics we can work from, as well as creating a Code of Conduct for leadership to observe- accountability many of you had been asking for. We hope the community will find more transparency in our groups processes and procedures once this work is done. We recently published the Burn2 Code of Ethics and we ask for your input. You can send that to us through the form on this page.

Remember to add your comments and ideas by going to the Updates During the Pause page and following the instructions in Goal #2. We cannot create the change you want without your feedback.

Just a couple of weeks before the playa reopens!

RL Burning Man Project events happen year round. Burners can get updated by reading these two publications to learn more about how to visit other regionals around the world and in cyberspace.
