What are Juried and Nonjuried Art Installations at Burn2?
Juried art installations are those that are submitted for judging, whereas nonjuried art installations are those that are not judged, but whose creators were invited to place an installation at the event. Juried and nonjuried art plots will be awarded, with installation plot sizes varying from 1024sqm to 4096sqm - how many and what sizes will depend on availability.
Small art installations are those that are on 16m x 16m (256sqm) plots with 78LI allotment. They are smaller builds for those who could not get a plot but wanted to make a contribution to the event in the form of artwork. These are not judged, but how many small art plots are to be awarded will depend on availability. To apply for a small art plot grant, visit this page.
